Eligibility
Pioneer Specialty seeks to insure well-maintained properties that are at least 25 years old and have the following characteristics:
- Apartment buildings three stories tall or less that house between five and 100 units
- Property values of $25 million or less (at any one location)
- Property has an occupancy of at least 90%
- Buildings 30+ years old that have had their roofing, electrical, heating, and plumbing updated within the last 20 years
- No swimming pools, new venture ownership, or college student housing
